Jonathan Seltzer, MD

Senior Consultant

As a research physician and a trained economist, Dr. Seltzer works with clients to design and implement research programs that demonstrate the value of their medical products.  Although Dr. Seltzer was board certified in cardiovascular and internal medicine, he has worked with clients in multiple therapeutic areas. He has had significant interaction with regulators and currently serves on the Steering Committee of the Clinical Trial Transformation Initiative (CTTI).  Dr. Seltzer was VP of Health Systems Research at Premier Research.  In the academic world, Dr. Seltzer served as Deputy Director of the Office of Health Policy and Clinical Outcomes at Thomas Jefferson University.  In addition to publishing in the arena of health outcomes, he led two nationwide benchmarking efforts and served as co-chair of the Clinical Evaluative Sciences Council of the University Health Consortium.  Dr. Seltzer also previously spent time as a private practice cardiologist as well as a AHA junior fellow in molecular cardiology.

He received post-graduate medical training at the Universities of Michigan, Maryland and Chicago. He serves as the director of clinical research at the Main Line Health Heart Center, a leading cardiovascular center in the Philadelphia area.
